Job Description: Frontend Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, build, modify, deploy, and/or test B2C and B2B products and features using React TypeScript and related frontend technologies.
- Produce high-quality production code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define feature and product specifications.
- Work independently, leveraging available resources to overcome challenges and meet deadlines using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high standards.
- Set direction and goals for the team regarding frontend implementation and developer efficiency.
- Advocate for higher product quality and engineering efficiency throughout the organization.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends and evaluate their integration into the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years developing frontend solutions.
- 2+ years working with SaaS product development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience in deploying and hosting products on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Comfortable building complex applications and systems from the ground up with limited development infrastructure.
- Ability to thrive in environments where priorities and definitions may shift or compete.
- Passion for creating exceptional end-user experiences and solving customer needs through thoughtful product design.
- Demonstrated drive, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for scaling a dynamic organization.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with international trade or third-party logistics (3PL).
