Responsibilities
- Construction Management:
- Oversee site activities across all construction stages, ensuring quality control and progress tracking.
- Facilitate the development and resolution of architectural and interior details.
- Actively manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and clients.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Develop and implement construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and other key project documentation.
- Review architectural-related contractor submissions (workshop drawings, material submissions, and vendor qualifications).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, testing requirements, and client standards.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
- Contribute to procedural improvements in standards and policies.
- Respond to RFIs and conduct site inspections.
- Project Management:
- Manage high-level deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain an organized approach to deliver on all project aspects.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; Postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 15+ Years in a high-profile design consultancy, focusing on mid- to large-scale projects (including high-rise mixed-use, residential, commercial, hotels, and educational buildings).
- 7+ Years of relevant experience in the UAE.
- Accreditation from an internationally recognized body preferred (AIA / RIBA).
- LEED AP or USGBC certification preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk software, including REVIT, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with CSI specification format and standard inspection procedures.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, materials, suppliers, and construction practices.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
- Effective leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
