Job Description: Engineering Intern at Beno Technologies

Role Description

Beno Technologies is seeking interns to join our team in working on experimentation and exploration projects. Experimentation is a crucial component of our engineering culture, as it helps us push the boundaries of what is possible. Your contributions will enable the Beno Engineering team to select the most effective tools and technologies, ultimately improving our efficiency and product competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Experimentation Projects:
- Research and incorporate AI chat assistants with Beno's products and policies, creating a proof of concept (POC) for potential deployment.
- Investigate various reactive data persistence libraries for Java/Kotlin, such as Reactive Hibernate and Komapper, and integrate findings into our codebase.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with senior software engineers in Dubai, Amman, or Damascus, receiving necessary training and support.
Continuous Learning:
- Be a quick learner driven by curiosity to explore new ideas and technologies.
Documentation and Presentation:
- Document and present your work at the conclusion of the internship.

Who We're Looking For

Education and Experience:
- Recent software graduates or practitioners with a solid foundation in computer science, emphasizing Object-Oriented Programming.
Skills:
- Any combination of skills in app development (web, mobile, or CLI), analytics, ML, and AI.
- Strong self-organization and receptiveness to team guidance.
- Good writing and presentation skills.
Attributes:
- Passion for solving technical challenges and hands-on work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
