Job Description
This is a hands-on development role in an agile environment where you will administer, support, and develop various services on our Azure platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced, scalable APIs on Azure.
- Understand business requirements and map them to the latest Azure features.
- Implement solutions using Azure components (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in Node.js.
- Act as a technical consultant to team members.
- Work on existing projects to migrate or prepare them for the Azure environment.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate with other backend services (JSON, XML, etc.).
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases and usability.
- Read and update code written by other developers.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience with SQL Server T-SQL or Cosmos DB.
- 3 years of experience with Node.js.
- 2 years of experience in Microservice Implementation (beneficial).
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Knowledge of the development life cycle.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker (highly preferred).
- Knowledge of .NET alongside Node.js (added advantage).
